Picture Marathon Before the Driving Marathon

Benjy and Danielle are happy to post that their 4 flights brought them home safe and sound. Here are a few photos for you :-) before we start our drive from MN to Boston, Boston to MN, and MN to CO to move everything we own to Denver! Our new address with be 7171 S. Cherokee Trail #2221 Aurora, CO 80016. As always, we love visitors! Thank you so much for taking the time to look at Scott, Anders, Benjy, Chris, and my blog. Love to all!

Pictures run most recent to oldest enjoy!:

We stopped off in S. Korea on our way home, we decided that Chinatown in Korea was a great place to visit...It was pretty and ironic.
Our constant companions on this trip were our paintings we bought 3 weeks ago and had to lug all around Indonesia!!! Come to Denver to see them - they are beautiful.
Chris received his Doctorate in roof packing on this trip with an innovative "tie the windows open so we freeze in the mountains all the way home" technique. His thesis had something to do with how to use a kite string as a safety device.

Bintang made it through the whole trip and made it home safe... but not before opening his own cafe in Flores.
Danielle really planted me with this one.
This is a man climbing a palm tree to gather coconut juice to make palm wine and we think this pic is stunning.
OK, here's one of the pieces to wet your appetite.
A school trip in Indo, I think they were headed to the science museum. The teachers had a good head count though... before losing three kids to a tree branch.

This is Scott's REI ad that is coming out next month. Look for him on billboards.
John is standing in for Benjy on the end of this "Profiles of the Future Generation" pic. Funny enough the head scarfed lady is standing in for Bintang, the chicken, in this one...he was helping me with focus at the time.
Gustavus Magazine here we come!!!!! Just a few photoshopped shirts and we may make the cover. Keep your fingers crossed.
Can anyone guess how many countries are represented in this photo?

Don't worry about the two year old with the knife, he's a professional.
We told this mountain over and over that smoking is bad for your health, but he says if he quits he'll get all fat and bloated.
These passengers bought first class tickets at the bus station and found out what a room with a gentile breeze really means.
Notice the tourists melting in seamlessly with the locals without even trying. Bintang had one too many and we buried him on the black sand beach.
The 98 different kinds of bacteria in this dragon's mouth are no match for this stick of destiny we hold.
We reconsider after seeing that his tongue was as long as our arm.
Trying to get just a little closer...Dani had a few intestinal problems on this leg of the trip but we're pretty sure she got it all out.
Hiked to a beautiful view in flip flops.
Dani showing her prowess off the boat. Ask Chris about his perfect 10 on a back dive.
Our welcome committee at the small village of Bena.
This woman is chewing Betel nut, a mild carcinogen and stimulant which account for the redish brownish teeth of the locals. It to them is good for the teeth and the kidneys... soon the FDA will be marketing it to America.
This is an oldie but a goodie, on the pier waiting for our boat ride to Lombok from Bali.

It was amazing how much cloth Chris sold in one day... Consequently everyone is getting a traditional cloth from Anders as a souvenir. ;-)
