Bali!
Hello everyone! Wanted to do a quick check-in and let you know that our full party of 5 has made it safely to Indonesia with no problems what-so-ever. We are staying in Kuta Beach, which is on the South East side of Bali and is a very bustling, noisy, and FUN place. We have been spending our days getting into the surf on Kuta Beach and Dani and Benjy have been ripping it up! They are doing great for their first times out! We look forward to posting pictures soon but until then just know that we are eating well, soaking up the sun and the salt water, and it is very very HOT! Talk soon!

I can't remember the name, but I read a description of a popular area food made with unripened fruits, chili and carmel sauce, and salt. It sounds good. Have you tried it?

On a related note, I am going to Costa Rica from August 2-16 to go surfing. Anybody want to come with?

To Kara - I miss you girl! I would love to go surfing with you but I will be in my first week of med school! I did get up - and will keep working on it. It is so worth the slashing for an amazing ride. We will actually be living in south east Denver starting July 15th or so. When will you be there? Much much love, Dani
